Business Park & Community Centres

To create a world-class industrial zone, Kizad recognizes that it needs to provide outstanding services and infrastructure for companies and their employees.  A Business Park and a range of Local and District Centres are being developed to cater for these needs.

Business Park

The Business Park will be located adjacent to Kizad’s main arterial road, and it is proposed within the Masterplan to provide offices, commercial showrooms, a business hotel, training and research facilities, supported by associated retail and related services.

The Business Park will act as a natural meeting place with well-landscaped surroundings and shaded piazzas for business and for socialising.

An ideal place for international and local companies to establish their HQ office buildings, occupiers have the option to secure a plot of land to build their own premises, enter into a long term agreement for a planned bespoke building or to lease space in one of the buildings that Kizad will be developing itself.

District Centres

Designed to support a population within a 4 km radius, the District Centres will provide a range of facilities and services to meet the daily requirements of people working and living close by.

Development of two large District Centres is planned. Each will have their own distinct characteristics and features to fit alongside their respective industrial operations and land use requirements. A District Centre will typically have a Jumma mosque, medical clinic, civil defense, some associated retail, food and beverage outlets and other related community facilities and services.

Local Centres

These Local Centres are community focused, and will offer a range of ancillary facilities and services to meet the needs of people living within a 2 km radius. There are four Local Centres planned, each with their own mix, which may include a local mosque, general retail facilities and other related amenities.

The Local Centres are positioned at strategic locations within the Industrial Zone, ensuring easy access to key services. Day-to-day services will be within walking distance of most workplaces, thereby reducing the need to use vehicles for short trips within the site.
